Study And Design On Ease Of Dispersion Test System Of Pigments

Chemical pigments are absolutely necessary in our life, but depigmentation of material can be seen everywhere. It is all because that the performance of the pigments is not steady enough. To avoid this phenomenon, the performance of the pigment must be test before it be used. This test system is not exist in our country now, the pigment manufacture must take their products to some other country. So it is necessary to design a new test system of our own. The system is designed for Carlince Company and mainly used in plastic pigments. The whole work includes the design of the test equipment, the control method and elements, as well as the control software. My task includes the first two.The thesis tells of the contrive process of the test system. The test system and test principle, the design of the equipment, the control method and control elements are all included. Now here are the specialties of this system:i ) Using a special pump to increase the test pressure;ii) Using transducer and control computer in control system;With the development of chemical machine, extrusion is widely used in plastic engineering. Reference to this, these machine will be used in the test system. The whole system includes extruding machine, gearbox of reduction and the main test device-filtrate machine. The filtrate machine is driven by retard engine. All these machines are configurated on the control computer. The computer controls these machines by control two transducers. Five sensors are fixed in the filtrate machine, three temperature sensors and two pressure sensors. The temperature sensors survey the test temperature and pressure sensors measure the inlet pressure and outlet pressure respectively. These data are send to the computer after being translated by A/D translators. The computer manipulates them by arithmetic/logic operations and sends control data to transducers.All this test system has been completed, and it functions well after several months' test. It have test some pigments, the results agree well with the results tested in Germany. Compared with the machine made in Germany our machine shows the advantage of easy control, lower cost and well management for the test.
