This paper contributes to experimental study and practice on treatment of organic wastewater by a new electrochemist reactor- bipolar packed bed cell (BPBC). These study and practices have active significance contentment of organic wastewater. Firstly this paper expound evolve and direction of researches on bipolar packed cell, and recommend its structure and basic principle on treatment of organic wastewater. The research is focused on two kinds of organic wastewater, high concentration phenol wastewater and circuitry board film wastewater. For there are also two kinds of wastewater in circuitry board production process, high concentration and low concentration film wastewater, this paper partly study on treatment of these two kinds wastewaters. Through dynamic examination of electrolyses, this paper research on treatment efficiency of bipolar packed bed cell under different voltage, electrolyses time, PH value andThe experimental results show that the decompounding speed of phenol decrease with the electrolyze time increasing. With the cell's voltage augment the decompounding rate of phenol increase also. But when the voltage exceed 10V, the increasing speed of decompounding rate decrease. Under the alkalescency condition, the changing of pH value effect the decompounding rate of phenol, along with the pH value accretion the decompounding rate decrease. When electrolyte is added into the water, the decompounding rate of phenol increase. Adding the same mol concentration NaCl and NaNO3 into the wastewater, the effect of adding NaCl is better than adding NaNO3. There are some midst matters in wastewater, for removal of these matters the electrolyze time should exceed 30 min. The experimental results show that the bipolar packed bed cell has best treatment efficiency of phenol wastewater under condition that voltage is 10V, electrolyses time is 30 min, and velocity of flow is 1.03 cm/min.Basic on the study on treating of phenol wastewater, this paper carry on a research on treating of circuitry board film wastewater by bipolar packed bed cell. The experimental results show that the bipolar packed bed cell has best treatment efficiency of high concentration circuitry board film wastewater under condition that voltage is 8V, electrolyses time is 60 min, and the quantity ofadding oxidant is theory quantity, and the experimental results show that without adding electrolyte and oxidant the bipolar packed bed cell has best treatment efficiency of low concentration circuitry board film wastewater under condition that voltage is 8V, electrolyses time is 60 min.
