The extrusion processing heads the list of all in plastic processing, the extrusion dies are key components in the extrusion equipment, the quality or the output can't meet the requirement mostly because of the poor dies design or unreasonable machining. In the past industrial production, "trial and error" method has been used to design extrusion dies because of the plastics melt rheologic behavior and the complex geometry of the extrusion dies. This increases the cost drastically because of modifying the design of dies and the process conditions of extrusion repeatedly. With the help of the plastics melt flowing state simulation in die, we can predict the melt flow behavior in the flow channel before the die is manufactured, so we can verify the rationality of the design, and correct the unreasonable parts on the computer, firm the reasonable processing conditions and dimensions, reduce the mold-repair times, and enhance the successful chance. In this thesis we firstly designed two dies, the first was a rectangle profile extrusion die for experiment, and the other was a profile extrusion die to be optimized by the finite element method, then we analyzed the influence of the geometry parameters in the flow channel of rectangle profile die on the flowing state with the computer simulation method, and verified that we can regulate the discharge and the uniform velocity distribution in the melt at the exit from the flow channel ,by changing the compression ratio and compression angle in pre-parallel zone and changing the length of parallel zone; and we verified that the computer simulation was a feasible program with the experiment, and analyzed the influence of the types of material , the length of parallel zone and the temperature in the die on the discharge and the pressure in the die in the experiment. Finally with the help of ANSYS software, we optimized the geometry of the flow channel of the complex...
