Underground coiler is an important equipment in striped steel production line. The processof striped steel coiling is a very complicated, non-linear deformation one. Only relying on wepeople’s production experience or simplified analytical study could not meet the need of craftdesign. Experimental study could not reproduce every element’s impact law in the process ofcoiling. And experimental result is commonly restricted in one type of production or a certaincondition, which is not very common.This thesis takes one factory’s main rolling line coiling equipment as study object,dynamically simulating the coiling equipment’s operating process of coiling a certain type ofstriped steel with finite element software. The content consists of the following parts:1. Coiling craft model was properly simplified on the basis of coiling equipment operatingprinciple. Combined with field testing data, building a dynamic finite element model in thecoiling equipment’s coiling process with three dimension dynamic finite element software;2. According to dynamic simulating analytical result, the data could not be tested directly inthe actual production process could be extracted, such as wrapped roll, molding board, reel’sstriped steel reaction force, and striped steel stress situation in every step of coiling process,which could provide basis for coiling craft parameter’s formulating in the actual producingprocess;3. Compiling the specific code which is only for the analysis of coilers’ coiling process, andfacilitating the engineers to advance the related analysis of reel’s deformation after stress, finallyguiding the actual production better;4. With finite element analysis, in different striped steel rear tension force situation, theprocess of coiler coiling striped steel can be dynamically simulated to get different reactionforces to wrapped roll in different striped steel rear tension situation. With reaction force’s timecurve, the reaction force’s strength and time could be observed to get a formulating value that is astriped steel rear tension force is better;The thesis dynamically simulates operating process of coiler on the basis of building coilerfinite element model reasonably. With finite dynamic simulation, the striped steel force bearingchanges could be observed clearly in every step of the coiling process, and the data that couldnot be tested easily in the actual production could be extracted. Through analysis and comparingof striped steel coiling process in different rear tension force, the optimized value of the reartension force could be acquired.
