| Quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicine is very important and difficult. Method that determine 1,2 chemical constituents have been used in quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicine for years.This method can not reflect the drug matching and the whole curative effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The high performance liquid chromatography fingerprint can reflect information of Traditional Chinese Medicine as more as possible. It is not only a mode and technique for Traditional Chinese Medicine theories and new drugs development. It will contribute to Traditional Chinese Medicine modernization.Yupingfeng oral liquid is a type of modern pharmaceutics, the therapeutical effect is definite and toxic effect is low. But two problems exist in Yupingfeng. One is the extraction of Yupingfeng is not appropriate, and another is the quality control of Yupingfeng is not perfect. The content of my experiment was study on extraction process and quality control of Yupingfeng oral liquid.In my experiment, the extraction technology of complex prescription was improved and the high performance liquid chromatography fingerprint of two crude drugs (Radix Saposhnikoviae , Radix Astragal), pharmaceutics and intermediate were established. We calculated the similarity of crude drugs pharmaceutics and intermediate with the Similarity Evaluation Software. The result is showing that good stability, good precision , good reproducibility. Fingerprint chromatography of Crude drugs, pharmaceutics and intermediate were established by HPLC of the same gradation technology. The analysis method is simple, rapid and reliable . The studies are useful for the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine.Relative retaining time, relative peak area, sum of resolution, average resolution, relative standard deviation etc. were adopted concerning establishment, analysis and evaluation of fingerprint spectrum.
