This study synthetically makes use of multi-research methods, such as the computer numerical simulation, the analysis of cross and regression, the observation of mine pressure at the spot to study systematic the wall rock stress and roof-off-strata of the gate main coal seam bolting support in Xin-ji No.2 Colliery. By cross experiment, we get the optimum supporting parameter. According to analysis the result of cross experiment, we gain the regression related equation and established the theory foundation of the support design. By computer simulation, we analysis and study the law of wall rock stress distribution, deformation ,the axial force of bolt and the roof-off-strata. The observation of mine pressure at the spot indicated that the roof rock seam didn't appear the phenomenon the roof-off-the strata and it would go to steady some time inside and outside the anchorage.
