Karst rocky desertification is a serious problem of eco-environment deterioration, drawing an extensive concern of the public gradually. With Karst rockydesertification being controlled deeply, a number of artificial economic eco-forestsexist in rocky desertification areas. Because of the uniqueness of karst environment, they are different from normal artificial forests in the conditions of nutritionalbackground, community structure, community nutrient distribution and circulationcharacteristics. Based on Z. planispinum var. dingtanensis community from 1 to 10years, this paper, combined with the characteristic of single plant's nutrientindependence by the incontinuity of karst soil layers, studies systematically ecosystemstructure, bio-production allotment, nutrient distribution, accumulation and circulationof artificial forests in karst rocky desertification areas with single pepper as thecirculatory unit, to guide artificial forest management, particularly their measures ofnourishment management. Main results are as follows: The structure of artificial Z. planispinum community in Dingtan is simple, including mainly Z. planispinum plants, the plants under the forest and thedeadwoods. In addition, the species and the layer structure in the community aresimple, and the season change is especially obvious. The growing condition of Z.planispinum var. dingtanensis are affected by slope location, slope angle, available soil of single plant and soil depth. In the influence of human activities, thecommunity bio—production concentrates mainly on Z. planispinum var.dingtanensis the one of plants under forest is few, and the one of deadwoods isincreasing with the age of the community. The rate of bio-production distribution inthe organs of Z. planispinum var. dingtanensis is related to its age and growingstages. In order to protect forest plants, the paper makes a suggestion on artificialcontrol to forest plants by mowing. The mean pH value of the soil in the forestlands is 7.7, belonging to the typicallime soil. The order of whole and the valid contents of macroe—lement in the soil offorestlands are with Ca > Mg> K> N> P, and the order of microelement contents, with Fe> Mn> Zn> Cu. In the influence of parent soils, pH value, calcium carbonates, heavy carbonates, organic materials and physical characteristics of soils, the order ofvalid contents of microelement in the soil of forestlands is with Mn > Fe> Cu> Zn,and the order of its efficiency, with Cu> Mn> Zn> Fe. The order of mean contents of macroelement in the deadwoods of forestlands iswith Ca> N> K> Mg> P, and the order of microelement, with Fe> Mn> Zn> Cu. Theorder of macroelement contents in the plants under the forest is with K>Ca> N> Mg>P, and the order of microelement, with Fe> Mn> Zn> Cu. In addition, the order ofmacroelement contents in Z. planispinum var. dingtanensis is with Ca> N> K> P>Mg, and the order of microelement, with Fe> Mn> Cu> Zn. The order of contents ofN, P, K in the organs is with fruit > leaf> root> caulis, the order of Ca contents, withleaf> fruit> root> caulis and the order of Mg contents, with leaf> root> fruit> caulis. In the microelements, the order of Fe contents is with root > caulis> fruit> leaf, theorder of Mn and Cu contents, with root > leaf> fruit> caulis and the order of Zncontents, with leaf> root> fruit> caulis. The accumulation of nutrients in Z. planispinum var. dingtanensis is relatedto the change of its age. The order of macroelement contents in the organs before thefruit stage is with leaf > caulis> root, and the one of microelement contents, withroot> caulis> leaf. But in the fruit stage, the order of macroelement contents in theorgans is with fruit> caulis> leaf> root, and the one of microelement contents, withcaulis> root> fruit> leaf. In the single plant system of different ages, the distributionof nutrients is different. In system of one year, the order of macroelementaccumulation is with Z. planispinum > plants under the forest> deadwoods, the oneof microelement accumulation, with plants under the forest> Z. planispinum...
