A horizontal helical-conveyor discharge filter centrifuge, the duster cuttings dryer, is studied in this project. The duster cuttings dryer, which is a new type of high efficient solid-liquid separation equipment in solids control systems, can help operators meeting increasingly stringent environmental rules.In this thesis, to obtain its operation and configuration performances, the engineering application of the duster cuttings dryer is systematically and deeply investigated firstly. Secondly, considering the efficiency of the dynamic forces, the equivalent static structure analysis and numerical computation of the centrifuge's rotational components, squirrel cage bowl and screw conveyor, is analyzed by a toolbox Workbench Environment of the huge common finite element analysis software ANSYS. By processing the results, the acceleration field, static pressure from materials and structure combination of them is analyzed separately, as it can simulate the real operation cases and give the influence extents severally. Further more, to obtain the stress and deformations of the rotational components, the influences from G-force and material height in the bowl were also analyzed.
