Centrifuges are largely used in the industry departments of chemical industry, foodstuff, pharmacy and mining, it's one of the solid-liquid separation equipments, which is the largely applied and ideal equipment. The structure, variety, and application of centrifuge are developed rapidly, but the fact the theory research is left behind the practice is a long existed problem. Although the scroll discharge screen centrifuge is applied at present, this kind of machine is not largely used at home, and lack of adaptability practice on processed material, the industry cases used for reference is so less. And more, the theory research on this kind of centrifuge is not enough, it can not provide guidance for industry practice.This paper makes study and research on the present theory of centrifuge separation, and deduces the relative formulas of theory of solid-liquid separation, which are fit for scroll discharge screen centrifuge, and the formulas is the base of sequenced design and analysis. Makes systematic analysis and design on differential, which provides different out-let speeds, and makes parameter design on gears, the most important parts of differential, by the utilization of 3D software Pro/E, and simultaneously, the motion simulation analysis is made by the module MECHANISM of Pro/E, thus, the design rationality and validity of differential can be checked up, and provide a parameter design and motion simulation method for differential.Makes simulation analysis on drum and screw conveyer, which are the important part of the centrifuge, by the utilization of FEA software ANSYS, then, to study the stress and stiffness situation in different kinds of working condition, and to check up whether they are satisfied the requirements or not. Makes modal analysis on screw conveyer, and calculates its natural frequency and vibration mode, and check up critical speed. After simulation calculation, the working frequency of screw conveyer is much lower than the natural frequency, so it's safe for the centrifuge.This paper makes research on the influence of some important working and geometry parameters, such as rotation speed, the thick of drum and screw blade, when they are changed, on drum and screw conveyer's stress and deformation, and establishes the foundation of optimization structure design, and establish somerelative desining laws.
