As the technology of the computer and network are generally used, the networked and integrated has already become inevitable trend and direction of the development of the numerical control machine. The DNC system based on LAN between numeric machines has become the important developing trend of realizing networked and integration development. On the base of studying the relative theories and achievements, the communicating technology of DNC system based on LAN that faced to serial multi-structure numeric control machine has been researched in the paper, according to the current situations in small and middle enterprises. On the analysis of the characters and state-of-the-art, also the actuality of the current situations, the paper puts forward the Ethernet DNC system that faced to the serial numerical control machine, and the feasibility and predominance. Then the paper researches the software and hardware structure of the system, and also communication. The paper studies the design and realizing methods of the software and hardware of serial/Ethernet communicator that based on RCM2200. The achievements have been used to realize the transfer of the serial of numerical control machine and TCP/IP agreement of numerical control machine. Finally, the paper explores the design methods of the communication program of the DNC host computer that based on MFC. The paper also exposed how to use Microsoft MFC and multi-line-route to realize the link and communication between DNC host computer and communicator of numeric control machine. Some problems during the designing and debugging of the system were also discussed and given the solution.
