Our country is a big producer of coals and the annual production is the first in the world. However, the secure producing situation of the coalmine is very grim, especially the accident of gas explosion, which would result in a large quantity of casualties and property losses, and has absorbed high attention of the government. The current Supervising and Controlling System of coal mine plays an important role in terms of supervising the secure situation under the pit and taking precautions against secure hidden danger. However, it is just the simple reaction from the data of the sensor. It hasn't had the function of forewarning gas explosion yet and hasn't been able to meet well the requirement for the control of the secure mine producing. Through summarizing large numbers of home and overseas relevant data and standard stipulations, and combining the specific situation of the mine, this essay has put forward the Forewarning System of gas explosion under the coal mine based on the KJ90 comprehensive supervising system and ArcGIS. The essay analyses the current research situation of the home and overseas gas explosion on the first place. It has analyzed and researched on the reasons of gas explosion by Fault Tree Analysis, and charted Faulty Tree of gas explosion. It has put forward 361 possible ways resulting in gas explosion under pit and illustrate sufficiently that the happening of such accident has a big possibility and danger. According to the charted Faulty Tree, it has researched on the conditions in which gas explosion happens from three aspects of oxygen supplying condition, gas accumulating and fire source of explosion. Secondly, the essay has analyzed the dangers result from gas explosion point by point: flame side, shock wave, a great deal of toxic gas, fire accident and secondary explosion. It has predicted the losses resulted from the disaster and put forward mathematic model of damages from the shock wave. It has gained the dead radius, injured radius and property loss radius, and put forward the specific practices of avoiding gas explosion and rescuing by illustrating with examples. Finally, the essay has researched on the early warning of the gas explosion under pit by making use of the perfect display and analysis ability of ArcGIS and combining the powerful database and proper supervising capability of KJ90 Supervising and Controlling System. According to a number of literatures and relevant stipulations, it has set up the forewarning model for the gas volume of excavating working face. On the base of KJ90 Supervising and Controlling System, the Forewarning System for the value supervising of the wind speed sensor and the Forewarning System for gas explosion resulted from coal and gas, it has also put forward four danger steps of warning and its increasing and decreasing mechanism. Showing all kinds of the forewarning results based on KJ90 Supervising and Controlling System on the ArcGIS platform and basing on the specific situation of the mine, analyze with expert system, put forward proper practices and reduce the happening rate of gas explosion. With the specific situation of the Southern mine in Zhongliang Mountain, this essay has evaluated the security grade for the ventilating facility of this mine, analyzed the ventilation finger and judged its reasonability and security.
