Wedge impact blade of impact cutting coal machine was designed and its working process was stimulated. The effect of each impact parameter to its working process was studied and its mathematic model was built. Simultaneity several angles of blade were confirmed with mechanics research.1. The status of the impact coal technology was viewed combined with the matter of impact cutting coal machine and the research content and method have been reported.2. The shape of the blade was ultimately designed by combining with the intrinsic physical and mechanical properties of the coal. The three dimension solid model was built by using the software, Pro/Engineer Wildfire. The new blade was more perfect and cheaper.3. The impact coal processes of different impact parameterswere stimulated by using the software, Ansys/Ls-Dyna. The results showed that the impact time via the energy of impact coal changed in parabolic. The best value is 100 ms.4. The results also showed that the impact speed via the energy of the impact coal changed in line and its slope is more than zero. Meanwhile, each parameter and mathematic model of geometrical parameter of impact machine were confirmed.The results showed that the wedge impact blade could greatly improve the efficiency of the impact cutting coal. The best impact time was confirmed by stimulating the impact cutting coal process. The parameters of impact force v speed and machine are associate with each other, and adjusting any parameter should be considered with the largest impact energy.
