Because the working environment is very complex, bad, and the property of coal rock is different, the drive system of shearer's haulage unit is often impacted by impulsive load, arousing torsional vibration. For the elements are satisfied with static torque, when the frequency of force vibration is coincident or near with the nature frequency, the drive system will vibrate with big amplitude. Their dynamic stress will be very bigger than the static stress. Result in the element's endurance life inducing sharply. Even damage them because their hardness is not enough. For improving the dynamic property of the drive system of shearer's haulage unit, the torsinal vibration model have been built by the transfer matrix way . Through programing in the MATLAB software, obtained the every nature frequency and fundamental mode with which the first two natural coincide and potential energy attribute rate of every elastic shaft and modal flexibility. In addition, another model have been built with ADAMS software. Through applied the torque of impulse and forward spinning loading, simulated the model, drawed the curve of every elastic shaft's potential energy. Throught this, three weak elastic shaft have been founded. Their potential energy are extraordinary bigger than others. Then, utilizing the optimizational function of the ADAMS software, I have optimized the three elastic shaft's torsional stiffness, made the every elastic shaft's potential energy sharply reducing and potential energy's attribute becoming more uniform. The result of research can provide the theory for improving torsional dynamic property of the drive system of the shearer's haulage unit.
