This is the sub-subject "The modern cutters on large and complex part are series manufactured and researched"of HeiLongJiang province great science and technology tackle key problem item, which is mainly about the study of face milling cutter cut-in manner and cut-in fracture reason and rule and cutter disrepair life.Based on the M.Kronenoberg touch method and LinShuXing geometry resolution method, this paper researches into the first contact state of cutter tooth in the face — milling process and educe nine contact state estimation expressionses, which solves the account problem of the insert entrance style.According to reliability theory, the brittle fracture distributing role of cutter for milling 45# steel is studied,a templet of three-dimension Wibull Distubution is put forward an maximum value x0 is predicted with golden section method.Computation procedures of progression probability equation are obtained through regression analyses.Four entrance models are experimented on destruction and one optimum model suitable is selected with elimination method. It is proved that cutter-tooth's stress field is tranquilization after the toos cut-in the workpiece ,here, the tensil stress less than entrance moment, by means of elasticity and analysis of cutting force and the direction of wallop.so it is believed that the danger of disrepair while the cutter cut-in workpiece greater than after it entrance. Consequently,it is very importance to select the best entance model. At last, according to optimization of cut-in type milling method and cutter diameter, the methods which decrease Cemented Carbide cutting tools facture in entrance and increase the life of cutting tools are put forward .
