The shearer is working underground,the floating oil seal should be installed at both ends of the rocker output shaft to prevent coal dust from immersing in the protection shaft parts.The quality,reliability and service life of floating oil seals are critical to the safe operation of coal mining equipment.In recent years,due to the poor sealing effect of floating oil seals,oil spills frequently occur.The reason is that people have studied the rubber sealing material,contact stress and its influencing factors of the floating oil seal O-ring,and found out the relationship between the compression ratio of the O-ring and the installation load and the ideal formation between the contact surfaces.The contact pressure of the lubricant film.However,it is still rare to comprehensively study the relationship between lateral pressure,rubber hardness,friction coefficient between contact surfaces and contact stress,and will determine the degree of deformation of the rubber ring and the relative sliding between the contact surfaces.At the same time,when an abnormality occurs during the operation of the floating oil seal,the O-ring seal and the metal ring may cause dry friction or enter the sand grain to accelerate the process of rubber wear failure.In order to improve the performance of rubber seals,it is necessary to pay attention to the study of the wear of rubber seals under these special conditions.On the one hand,the wear failure mechanism of rubber seals is obtained,and on the other hand,the selection of rubber seals is helpful.There are related reports.The dynamic performance of the floating oil seal is analyzed firstly,and the ideal floating oil seal mathematical model hypothesis is established.The relevant leakage pressure formula is used to find out the external pressure of the sealing ring under the condition of no leakage.Secondly,the finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to simplify the establishment of the two-dimensional model of the floating oil seal.The effects of lateral pressure,friction coefficient and rubber hardness on the contact stress of the O-shaped rubber seal are analyzed.The reference of lateral pressure,friction coefficient and rubber hardness is given.Value,it is recommended that when the contact should be 30-40 MPa,the corresponding lateral pressure and friction coefficient and the range of rubber hardness;Finally,the self-designed wear gap adjustment ring friction and wear tester is used to study different loads,speeds and media.The wear resistance of the O-ring seal under the conditions of dry friction,oil lubrication and sandoil lubrication,and the wear mechanism of the O-ring seal were analyzed.It was found that the wear of the O-ring was accelerated under the wear of the sand.The research of this thesis will provide theoretical support for the contact stress analysis of floating oil seal O-rings,which will promote the development of O-ring friction theory and will also help the practical application of floating oil seals.
