In this paper, three compounds of N-alkyl-4-ferrocenylbutyl amine were synthesized using 4-chlorobutylferrocene as starting materials, catalyzed by potassium hydroxide in anhydrous N,N-dimethyl formamide via substitution with n-amylamine, n-butylamine and n-propylamine;l' -(4-chlorobutylacyl) ferrocenyl-methylformate have been prepared by Friedel-Crafts reaction, and using Zn-Hg as reductant,l' -(4-chlorobutyl) ferrocenyl-methylformate have been provided, then substituted with n-amylamine, n-butylamine and n-propylamine, also catalyzed by potassium hydroxide in anhydrous N,N-dimethyl formamide, other compounds of amino-ferrocenylmethyl formate were synthesized, and reduced to the corresponding N-alkyl-4-(l' -hydroxymethyl-ferrocenyl) butylamine, continue to react with trimethylchlorosilane, amino-ferrocenyltrimethylsilyl ethers have been prepared. All of them are 14 new compounds. Factors affecting the reaction were investigated, such as catalyts ,solvents,reaction temperature and appropriated material ratio.etc. The component and structure were characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectrum and ~1HNMR spectroscopies.
