Using Finite Element Method (FEM) to analyze the structure has progressively become an indispensable and important phase in the product development. The parametric design in 3D modeling can solve the problem of the rapid model design, but parametric design is not including FEM, so the mechanical production is inefficiency. Vulcanizers are important facility in the designing tires. The structure of Vulcanizers is very complexity that traditional design method has not met the modern designing, so the parametric design technique and the finite element analysis method are integrated in this paper to carry out the analysis and optimization, these can improve the efficiency of the mechanical production development. Firstly, this thesis reviews the background of the research, summaries the development of Vulcanizers and the recent research of the parametric design. Secondly, this thesis analyses the demand of the designing vulcanizers' structure to realize integrated design, discusses the methods of the parametric design in finite element analysis. Then the author proposes the framework of the parametric integrated design system. Thirdly, this thesis details the key problems in the parametric integrated design of vulcanizers such as parametric design technique in 3D modeling, parametric analysis, parametric result data, optimization technique and the database technique. Finally, the parametric integrated design system was implemented in the vulcanizers. Given an example of vulcanizers to verify the functions of the system. Where 3D modeling, finite element analysis, optimization and parametric result data were integrated in the design system, and the system based on 3D parametric finite element dynamic analysis improves the efficiency of the production.
