With oil industry developing persistently, Offshore pipeline is widely beingmade use of in ocean exploitation of oil and natural gas. It is necessary for avoidingaccident occurrence and controling risk in permissible scope to make researches onthe evaluation of offshore pipeline.Impact is the main reason of damage that offshore pipeline is suffered from. Itmainly due to damage of accidental loads, and anchoring is an important factor ofpipeline damage.According to the evaluation method of falling objects introduced byDNV—RP—F107 and the basal theory of probability, combining with the practicalcase, the probability model of impacting pipelines by the anchor and anchor chain indifferent anchoring operation and the corresponding computational method are putforward in this paper. With regard to the probability of impact occurrence, mainly themethods of the probability and statistics are made use of;as to impact energy, it isbased upon statistical data and "energy belt" method based on experiments. Followinganalyzing risk result, the correlative theory of risk matrix is applied to have the finalrisk evaluation and management. The above will be a valuable reference at riskevaluation of offshore pipeline, and owns practical value at engineering.
