| The hydrogenation unit in Jinxi Petrochemical Company is a medium pressure hydrogenation unit, and its design pressure is 10.0MPa.A once through process with two catalysts in series are adopted. With the help of hydrofining and hydrocracking catalysts, the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon can be saturated and then followed the selective ring-opening reaction. So, a high quality diesel and kerosene with low aromatic potential content, high cetane and low density are produced as well as some high aromatic potential naphtha. In practice, we restrain the catalyst activity by decreasing the hydrogenation temperature so as to process the changing stocks. Since this technology is first applied in similar units at home and abroad, it's uncertain whether qualified product can be produced according to hydrogenation scheme. A successful scheme for qualified kerosene and diesel was formed through tests by changing stocks, reaction temperature and pressure. |
