In this paper, TiOPc was prepared by the reaction of titanium tetra-n-butoxide and 1,3-diiminoisoindole. The optimum reaction conditions were obtained by studied the influence factors in the reaction. The highest yield with 91.26% is obtained in o-dichlorobenzene at 170175℃ for 3h, titanium tetra-n-butoxide being added at 100110℃ with n(titanium tetra-n-butoxide): n(1,3-diiminoisoindole)=3:1. The structure and composition of the products were measured by IR and elemental analysis. The photo-sensitizing conditions were also studied. In o-dichlorobenzene/ water system, the condition of the optimal photosensitivity of Y-TiOPc is that treating temperature is at 6080℃ , time is 12h and the dried method is decompressed drying. V0,Vr,Rd and E1/2 values are 1360V, 40V, 30 V.s-1and 0.7lx.s respectively. In o-dichlorobenzene/butyl alcohol system, the photosensitivity of TiOPc increases with the increase of the volume content of butyl alcohol. α-TiOPc obtained in pure butyl alcohol is more photosensitive than Y-TiOPc obtained in pure o-dichlorobenzene. When the volume content of the butyl alcohol is 100%, TiOPc is the most photoconductive, and V0,Vr,Rd and E1/2 values are 1040V, 140V, 40 V.s-1and 1.1lx.s respectively. The effect of dispersants and resin (PVC) in the organic photoconductors in which TiOPc used as CGM and CT-191 used as CTM was also discussed. The results show that 2-butanone is the best dispersant. When m(PVC):m(TiOPc) is 1:1, the device give a good data that V0,Vr,Rd and E1/2 values are 720V, 20V, 10 V.s-1and 0.72lx.s respectively. In order to improve the photoconductivity of OPC, the photoconductivity of TiOPc/TiO2/AZO systems were also studied in this thesis. The properties of them in which w(TiOPc)=85%, 90%, 95% were investigated respectively. The results indicate that the TiO2 has a sensitization to TiOPc/TiO2/AZO system. When the mass ratio is m(TiOPc):m(TiO2):m(AZO)=90:4:6 , the organic photoconductor has excellent photoconductivity, and Vr, Rd and E1/2 values are 16V, 14V·s-1 and 0.64lx·s respectively.
