The soft has been upgraded supporting the system in this paper. And CAD system for progressive die of DW620 stator and rotor plate of motor has been developed. The field of application of this system has been enlarged and the practicability of this system has been improved.Firstly, the problem has been introduced in upgrading soft supporting system and the method of solved this problem has been put forward. Secondly, the contents and correlated algorithm of the subsystem for technologic design has been expatiated, which include the input model of DW620 stator and rotor plate of motor module, production feasibility check module, the blank layout module and the strip layout module. Man-machine interactive method has been adopted to execute parameterization pattern input and the basic information input about the blanking part. Production feasibility check module is consist of the logic analysis and the structure test of this blanking. Fuzzy mathematics has been used to production feasibility check rule base, which make the check result coincidence with the producing reality. The vertex-based polygon method has been used to carry out the blank optimal layout by analyzing the characteristic of nested layout of DW620 series product, in order to obtain the highest material utilization in four layout mode, single row, double row, butt single row and butt double row. The most difficult part of CAD system for progressive die is the strip automatic layout. Body disassembled method has been adopted to perform blanking feature recognition by analyzing the structural feature of DW620 stator and rotor plate. CBR and RBR, intelligent knowledge has been used to put forward the algorithm of the strip automatic layout based the different area number. Considering the CBR inactivation about the new strange case, Man-machine interactive method has been provided, which improve the feasibility of the system. Finally, the subsystem of three dimension die design has been developed. The technology of database and feature parameter has been integrated to design parts which consist of progressive die. The Boolean method has been adopted to finish the assembly drawing of progressive die.
