Coiler Tension Control Of Color Precoated Steel Production Line

In the production line of color precoated steel, tension control of coiler is one of the most important sections. Good tension control will level up the quality of color precoated steel productions and improve productivity. This paper will mainly discuss tension control of coiler.Firstly, this paper introduces the color precoated steel line of Guangdong Hanjiang steel company, including production flow, basic electrical equipments, the automation control design of whole line, the performance of the production line, etc.Secondly, this paper researches device characteristics and running theory of coiler and emphasizes tension control theory of coiler, which includes basic theory of tension control, dynamic diameter calculation, dynamic moment compensations, moment current calculation, and so on.In the end, this paper discusses the realization of indirect tension control arithmetic of coiler. It also researches convolution characteristics and the dynamic tension model so as to set up the mathematic model of indirect tension control system and to simulate it with MATLAB. Through simulation, it shows that the mathematic model of indirect tension control system is proper to the color precoated steel line and PID control arithmetic can meet the performance demand of tension control of coiler.
