Eco-environment is a vital problem that faced by human being together in the 21 century. The stand or fall of eco-environment is not only closely bound up the existence and development of human being, but also the precondition and guarantee which carry out our country continuance strategy. With the study of global change impact, especially the strengthened study about human activities in global change research, people is more and more paying attention to the study of territorial eco-environmental change and frangibility.Tongyu county locates in southwest in the west of Jilin Province and agro-pastoral zigzag zone of the Northern China. It has farming and herd potential. Since the half past century, the eco-environment is worsened continually, the balance of eco-environment is destroyed and the ecological function is dropped increasingly under the coactions of nature and human together. All above have led to the increased areas of soda saline land, the seriously degenerated grasslands and the badly shrunk areas of water and wetland and so on. By now, the eco-environment of Tongyu has been one of the most fragile and worst regions in our country. At the same time, because it is located in the transition zone between the dry area in inland and the humid area of southeast monsoon climate, its eco-environment system has the features of sensitivity, fragile, mutability. The region is easy to be affected by global change.During the item research works, it was discovered that the complexity and ponderance of the eco-environment problems in Tongyu.
