For enhancing the competitive power of manufacturing industry of our country in the international market, the manufacturing is developed energetically and driven the industrialization using information. The technical renovation of traditional industry and the promoting of equipment level are realized. For adapting the current changeable market and competitive environment drastically, the status of manufacture demand that the enterprise must renovate and develop new products, which can be satisfied the demand of market by the lowest price, the best quality and the shortest time. The technical level of productive equipment, which is the foundation productive element of manufacture, can not settle for the desire entirely. The urgent task of our country is to enhance the numerical control rate of machine tool as soon as possible.As the numerical control technical renovation of conventional lathe, C620, an example, the plan of numerical control technical renovation that in view of the specific components machining is explored and the renovation is achieved in this paper. The basic state of numerical control technology and renovation is expatiated, and the background, goal and significance of the selected topic are introduced in first chapter. Meanwhile the content of the paper and the method is determined. The problem of model selecting of the system numerical control is discussed in second chapter, and the basic collocation and primary function of system are discussed also. The reformative plan of design of electrical control system is discussed in third chapter, and some plan of electro-circuit is designed. The renovation of mechanical structure is discussed in fourth chapter, the idiographic plan of renovation is put forward and some calculation and check computation is achieved. The processing of machine of the ripple flange is analyzed in fifth chapter, the universal program that used to machine series ripple flange is written. The precision of renovated machine tool is analyzed in sixth chapter and the applied value discussed in seventh chapter.The ordinary engine bed numerical control transformation is enhances our country to make the equipment numerical control rate effective way. This article research on the one hand may solve the massive ordinary engine beds faced with to leave unused, the elimination realistic question, On the other hand has a point of model instruction function to the small and medium-sized enterprise through the numerical control transformation enhancement competitive ability.
