| Until the year of 1997, our company owned only 10 sets of steam/air hammers and steam hammers. In times past, our production was arranged difficultly because of great energy loss and insufficient fund. Especially, the supply of steam and power was controlled by the steam and power delivering plant. Therefore, a rebuilding to the equipment had to be carried out. The Teaching and Research Section of the Beijing Science and Technology University developed the DY series electro-hydraulic hammer hydraulic system driving theory that was rather ripe and about which certain successful experiences were gained but confronted with some problems. In order to optimize the different parameters of the electro-hydraulic hammer after a rebuilding, hereby this paper tries to research the dynamic characteristic of the DY series electro-hydraulic hammer hydraulic system where a mathematical pattern of the system is built up by means of the power linkage chart, the causes why the "stiff"problems existed in the mathematical pattern of the electro-hydraulic hammer were searched after, and then a correct measure was taken so that the problem was solved well as well as a simulation program was written out, by which the variation rules of both the curves and the hydraulic oil in the lower chamber of the hammer were obtained and compared with the actually measured results, after which the pattern was proved to be right and could represent the system. On the basis, the pattern and the simulation program were adopted further so that a simple parameter optimization was designed about the electro-hydraulic hammer hydraulic driving system. Employing the method of design of optimization of the electro-hydraulic hammer hydraulic driving system herein, our company, by the help of the Qiqihar Hua-an Factory (the State owned Plant No 123), rebuilt the existent 10 sets of steam/air hammers and steam hammers after optimization of their parameters. As a result, the rebuilt hammers were not only simple in construction, easy in installation, high in reliability, low in cost and popular in application but also showed significant energy-saving efficiency that was very good for the situation of our company at that time. That rebuilding success realized the aim of less investment and greater efficiency and gave our company a profound effect on the development in the future. |
