In the guidance of the National Building Material Administrative Department's policy of "Control total amount,Adjust structure and Eliminate lag",the new type dry-process cement production has developed rapidly. Distributed Control System(DCS) is the maturest and the most practical control method up to the present,so it is used widely in the world.The process of cement production includes the digital control and the analog control. Using traditional DCS or PLC+HMI cannot finish the process of cement production satisfactorily,herefore HONEYWELL Ltd introduced the PlantScape SCADA/HC900 DCS in the system,Operator Stations,Engineer Station and Field Control Stations were connected by the Switching Ethernet,to finish the automation control of the whole plant.Along with the farther development of science and technology,DCS will combine with Fieldbus Control System fully downwards to make the control functions separate completely,and it will get the integration of management and control by syncretizing MIS upwards.
