In recent years, as the coal situation all the way down. People began to looking for a way that lower coal mining and transportation costs, pipeline transport into the line of sight of people, it can effectively reduce the coal transportation costs. But at present, the production of long distance pipeline system has not yet been in our country, and the study on theory of pipe coal is also less. In order to solve this problem, this article will study the problems of the friction loss in coal pipeline system. Provide certain theoretical basis for practical engineering.This article obtains from the study of the theory of the coarse coal particle accelerating in the pipe, set up a two-layer model to looking for an elapsed quantity calculation method in the pipe. Based on the two-layer model, analysis of the stress of the coarse coal particles, the momentum transfer process about water and coarse coal particles, and establish the relation among the water velocity?the coarse coal slurry and particle speed in each layer. The sliding speed calculation model of slurry is put forward, according to the principle of equivalent resistance model for calculating the friction loss.To validate the proposed calculation model by Using the related experiment data, Under the condition of different transmission through calculation results and the actual value of contrast, good consistency with the decision.
