Study On Separation And Purification Saikosaponins From Bupleurum

Bupleurum is a very important and useful medicinal materials in traditional Chinese medicine, and its saikosaponins have very prominent physiological activity . So saikosaponins is the main active components in the bupleurum. It is regarded highly by the researcher and has a better tomorrow. This paper was concerned about the isolation and purification of saikosaponins from Bupleurum Chinense DC. It was refined by the macroporous adsorption resins and isolated by the silica gel chromatography. The purity of saikosaponin was above 95%. Firstly, saikosaponin was prerefined by macroporous adsorption resins, and the gradient elution was performed with ethanol. Then it was extracted, decolored and crystaled. And we can get finer bupleurum saikosaponins. At the end, using the refined saikosaponins as material, we got six kinds of monomer of saikosaponins by silica gel chromatography. Making bupleurum saikosaponin a as examine target, we optimized the extraction condition of medicinal materials by orthogonal design. And we found the best extraction condition.
