Present Environmental Status About Yuqiao Reservoir And Research On Pollution Prevention Technique

Yuqiao reservoir is the only drinking water resource for Tianjin andplays important role in Tianjin economic development. However Yuqiaoreservoir is over polluted recently and eutrophicated with rapid progress.The worst record recently about the water quality of Yuqiao reservoir isup to Ⅳ～Ⅴ category. So it is greatly necessary to explore pollutionprevention technique for Yuqiao reservoir.Based on the investigation and analysis on existing data, the paperpoints out some problems about the water environment of the reservoir.To the main water environmental problems, this paper presentscorresponding protection and pollution prevention techniques. Throughresearch on these techniques, the problems existing in drinking waterresource protection in Tianjin is solved. The techniques could be utilizedto the pollution and eutrophic control of other reservoirs of our country.The mainly problems of Yuqiao reservoir are as follows: Firstly thereservoir is over polluted and eutrophicated with rapid progress. Thewater supply of Tianjin is severely affected. Secondly the upstream ofthe reservoir is heavily polluted, it could threaten the safe of thediversion works. What's more the ecological structure of reservoir areais so unreasonable and the function of water body is influenced. The mainlypollution resources are diffuse pollution resources around the reservoir,drainage of pound, 3 upstream rivers entry the reservoir and transmissionof river Luan water engineering etc.To the water environmental problems existing in Yuqiao reservoir,this paper presents corresponding methods and techniques with theprinciple of integrated treatment and water resource protection andutilization. Techniques that utilized to deal with point resources aremainly desorption and centralized processing for waster water and matter.To diffuse pollution resources, the farm construction and properfertilizer, villages' integrated management, remodeling of the poundaround the reservoir area, setting leading reservoir and other methodsare recommended. To the area around the reservoir and rivers fortransmission of water, ecology treatment and remediation methods areaccepted. Finally community optimization of water-inhabiting plants andother methods are used to protect the water body of the reservoir. Allin the aim of the techniques presented in this paper is to protect waterecology environment of Yuqiao reservoir.
