| The papermaking industrial sewage has thick liquid which make water seriously polluted and the ecological greatly destructed. It has been the hot issue of perplexing the papermaking industry of countries all over the world. Morever, the mid-stage wastewater is more difficult to be treated for complex component, like black liquor, low BOD/COD ratio. The effect of general physical- chemical methods is abjective and the fee is high. So we use the Multistage A/O Technology to treat reed and straw pulp mid-stage wastewater, proved the feasibility of the Multistage A/O Technology.The Multistage A/O Technology is also called Suspended Chain Aerating Facility. The suspended chain aerating facility was an effective aerating facility which was easy to operate and maintained .Aerating efficiency and dynamical were higher than general tiny aerating facility. The equipment was easy to maintain and it could be maintained when it was working. It could also changed broken aerating facility. This equipment was economical and credibility.It is inspected that COD of wastewater treated by physics-chemistry-suspended chain aerating technology was lower than 200mg/L which removal rate was above 85% and SS was lower than 70mg/L which can reach wastewater discharge standard of paper dustry(DB37/336—2003). It's technical parameter is that SVI is 277.7, HRT of aerating system was 62.2h, organic load of sludge was 0.12 kgBOD5/kg(MLSS).·d, SRT was 16 days. Through researching the technical parameter, the Multistage A/O Technology can run better when using it to treat reed and straw pulp mid-stage wastewater.Multistage A/O Technology had many advantages such as small volume, high efficiency, good fluid matter, simple process etc. And it demands simple structure and It's fee is low, So it is more suitable for our nation, and it meets the request of the national economy, social development and environmental protection ,and it produced the important social benefit, economic benefit and environmental benefit.
