Ramie is one of our country's specialities. It is planted and produced mainly in China. The traditional ramie's produce process is long and intricate. The whole ramie's degumming, which was arranged before spinning process, is more than 10 different processes. Further more, ramie's produce is also low efficient, energy wasted, and have a bad working environment. In a word, optimizing the ramie's produce processing, improving the card yield, reducing the cost, lowing down the cost of resources, mean a lot to the whole ramie's field.As far as ramie's oil finish, the traditional oil finish was divided into two processes. One is before drying, the other is after ramie's bruising. The purpose of these two processes is improving the surface condition of the fibers and the carding property when carding and spinning. Any way, the existence of the second oiling finish, will not convenient for the manufacturing and sourcing. It even need to give the additional technical support to this process both on the manufacturing and sourcing. All these will enhance the cost, waste the labors and resources.After analysis of the difference between the one-times oil finishand the two-times oil finish, we finally found that the character of the oil and the oil pick up are the key points on affecting the oiling quality. If we can make some high quality oil, which can improve the adsorption to fiber, optimize the way and condition properly when oiling, maybe we can fix the biggest problem on oil finish. Finally, we can rectify the traditional oiling into one oiling process with another watering process.After giving the details of the composition of the oil and the theory of how to choose the oil, we make three different oils on these principles and theories, which mainly different in the viscosity. These three oils share the same emulsions and the additional agents except the lubricants. The composition of the oils list as follows: mineral oil A(mineral oil B, mineral oil C), OP-10, MOA4, penetrating agent JFC, humectant glycerin, softening agent SG;Then we use these three different oils to do the oil finish. The results show that Oil A has a low viscosity, which can provide a better permeability and gliding property, will also cause the low intensity on oil film. It can't provide the fibers a better protection when facing friction. Oil C has a higher viscosity, which can provide a better intensity of oil film, will affect the gliding property in some way. Compare to the other two, Oil B is perfect.Make a comparison on the effect of the oiling finish between theone-times lab's oil finish's product and the factory's product, we will find that although the fiber's cohesion maybe not as good as the factory's, it do provide a better property on carding. Finally, we can say that oil B can be used as the kind of oils which only need to give one-times oil finish.To find appropriate oil processing to match the oil B, we use this oil to do the experiment separately on the emulsion's concentration, temperature, time, and the frequency of pressing.
