At present the pumping units are used widely in oil fields, their main problems are wastingenergy, low efficiency. The pumping units have many working parts, which is impossible to saveenergy by improving structure and work efficiency because the wastage is increased when themoving parts are added. A linear motor pumping unit removes many shift gears structures, turnthe traditional circumrotatory drive into linear reciprocation drive, which made the units havemore perfect motion performance, dynamic performance, and balance performance.The pumping unit driven by a linear motor is a novel technology in china even in the world. Itis very important to research and design the units. To optimize the work parameters of the linearmotor pump units, which can decrease the maximum polished rod load and the differencebetween the maximum and minimum load at the polished rod, and make the linear motor workcalmly. It can save energy by increasing the work efficiency of the linear motor pump units anddecrease the inner wastage of linear motor.This paper researches on several design schemes of the linear motor pump units, then pointout the optimum one based on the number of kinematic pair and the convenience of workoveroperation. It explains the work mechanism, structure, characteristic, and the analysis at thepolished rod motion of the linear motor pump units, which gets the calculation methods of thepolished rod load and the value of weight.This paper develops the optimum method of the linear motor pump units, build the workparameter mathematics model. It determines the mixed punishment function France to design thework parameter of the units by discussing the optimum design method of the units. It uses VBwrite the optimum design software, which gets the conclusions of work parameters. In thisoptimum software, it gives the dynamic ergogram which is very close to the static ergogram,which explains the units have good effect of save energy.This paper develops calculation methods of the main parameters of linear motor based on thebasis structure, work mechanism and equivalent circuit of permanent magnet linear synchrocousmotor(PMLSM). At the same time, it gives the calculation methods of linear motor power supplyfrequency and power basing on the optimum conclusions of linear motor working parameters,This paper compares the system efficiency and installed power capacity of the pumping unitdriven by a linear motor to the pumping unit, which gains the conclusions: the pumping unitdriven by a linear motor is benefit to increase the system efficiency;it has good effect of savingenergy.
