The heat treatment is critical process to improve the mechanical ability and Longevity of metal component, and is very pivotal production working procedure in the production of valve. With the rapid development of computer technology, better achievements have been gained by using computer to make plenty of research in the heat treatment processing industry. The data of the heat treatment processing can be managed effectively by the heat treatment processing information management, assisting the designee of heat treatment technical card and tracing the quality of heat treatment, Which is not only to enhance the efficiency of heat treatment product, but also to improve the production rate of enterprise, manage the information resource and increase competitive capacity.Firstly, based on fully researching on the three-circle factory, the data flow in the production workshop was generalized and the data of every phase was extracted and classified. Then the theory and reality of heat treatment quality tracing of valves was introduced particularly. The model of judgment also was extracted and explained simple. Secondly, the fundamental Data system was realized effectively by using the relation database conception. The table of system was constructed. Mainly including raw material data table, verified quality data table, heat treatment technical card and quality feedback etc.Thirdly, realizing the system configuration of client-to-server combined with the actual instance of three-circle factory in according to the basic principle of the software. Then the function of software system was designed and specified detail. Realizing the edit and query of the heat treatment technique data and all the data was printed with standard format. All the designed function was convenient to the designer to query the information of the heat treatment.Lastly, the host computer control software is developed using Visual C++6.0, and Background database is realized using SQL Server 2000. The system is reasonable and scientific in scheme planning, database structure designing, with high operational reliability. The function module was designed based on the actual demanding. This interactive user-friendly system operates easily.
