Food safety has always been the focus of government and people's attention.Establishing food traceability system to track the food supply chain process and trace the source of hazards,is considered the most effective way to reduce the risks of food safety.The unique identification of food is a necessary prerequisite for food traceability systems to identify food and collect data,and is the entrance for consumers to obtain traceability information as well.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the trace elements identification technology in food traceability system.In this paper,the retrospective application of standard literature in food industry were investigated,and the academic research hotspot for identification technology are analyzed.The definition,characteristics and development trend of identification technology were introduced.The business process of food traceability system and explains the role of labeling technology in food traceability process were analyzed.Based on the current general GS1 coding and EPC coding standard,the identification scheme of the retroactive unit for different parts of the food chain was designed by using automatic identification technology such as one-dimensional code,two-dimensional code and RFID,and a management scheme of food product identification was proposed.A prototype system of food traceability system was designed and implemented,and the scheme proposed in this study was tested with the system.The test results show that the scheme can provide a unique identification for the retroactive units of food production and circulation,and can be used to assist in the collection of food traceability information.At the same time,the identification of food can be used to retrieve and obtain the anti-counterfeiting information of the corresponding food,so we can conclude that the scheme is feasible.Based on EPC coding standard and automatic identification technology,the unique identification scheme of traceability units of different food supply chain can not only improve the efficiency of food identification and trace data collection,but also can solve the problems about difficult data sharing,low retrieval efficiency,information collision and other issues.In this paper,we propose a method of combining EPC coding with two-dimensional code to identify a single product of food.Compared with the EPC electronic label identification scheme proposed in the international retrospective standards,the cost is much lower.And it is more likely to drive the origin of the participation of consumers,thus contributing to the promotion of food traceability system applications.
