In recent years, with the development of plastics industry , the general and engineering plastics have been promoted much at many sides such as intension and precision. Now, the application of plastics have extended larger and larger and the trend that plastics replacing the steel and wood has been formed, which move the mold industry award. Because of high efficiency, high precision and low cost, Injection mold is the first choice for batch manufacturing. But injection molding often results many product's problems such as short shots, overflow edges, warp, weld line, dimension error and so on. How to decrease warp degree is a puzzle for engineer. Meanwhile, with the development of economics and people's living, customers put forward higher requirements to product's quality and capacity. Warp degree ,as a guide line to estimate product's quality, gets more and more attentions of designer and customers. So, it is necessary to have a further research to warp degree.CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) is applied to the whole molding process. In this paper, the author uses special molding analysis software Moldflow to simulate filling, packing and cooling phase and then calculates the warp degree. After that, the author analyses the warp reason and put forward modify scheme, which will guide mold design and technical parameter's setting.The application of CAE to injection mold field conquers the disadvantages such as mold's low quality, high frequency of modifying and long manufacturing time caused by experiential design and obtains good economic result.
