Theoretical And Practical Study On The Safety Culture For Construction Enterprises

Safety survival, safety living and safety production are both basic needs of human beings and sign of social civilization development. To treasure the life and concern for safety has been the common topic all over the world. Combining both theoretical and practical research method, theories of safety culture and establishment of construction enterprises safety culture are broadly studied, based upon which, the frame and mode of the safety culture construction of the construction enterprise in which the writer serves are established, and a series of practical activities on construction are conducted.The safety culture theory is summarized in this paper. The concept of safety culture is introduced and the differences between safety culture and safety management are clarified. Then, the concept, characteristics, function, structural hierarchy, connotation, detailed content and establishing mode of safety culture establishment for construction enterprises are proposed.Combining the theory with the daily work, the practical study on safety culture establishment for construction enterprises is emphasized in this paper. The frame and mode of the safety culture establishment for Shaanxi Provincial No.3 Construction Engineering Company in which the writer serves are proposed, a series of management policies are formulated. Under the new system, some practical activities are conducted and results show that the construction safety culture establishment strengthens the safety management effectively.
