The main influencing factors to the compounding system and processing technics of NBR were studied by Orthogonal Experiment Design method, and the modifidcation and dispersion to HAF were investigated, and the modification to PP and PVC and their blend with NBR were explored elementarily.1, The Orthogonal Design to the main compounding system and processing technics of NBR. Through the orthogonal experiment, the content of DCP/TAIC, Si69, HAF, the order adding compounding ingredient, the heat treatment temperature, the temperature roasting HAF and their relationship were studied. The results indicated as follws. (1) The modulus, tensile strength, elongation at break and tear strength remarkablely were infuluenced by the content of DCP/TAIC, Si69 and HAF, and the other factors were not obivious. (2) The oil resistance and heat-aging properties of vulcanizate were mainly influenced by the content of DCP/TAIC, Si69 and the heat treatment temperature. (3) With the increase of the content of DCP/TAIC, the compression set of the vulcanizate decreased to some extent. While the content of Si69 was 2.0 ~ 3.0 phr, the properties of the vulcanizate were better. Moreover, the content of Si69 should be increased accordingly as the content of HAF increased, and the best proportion was 4%.2, The study on modification and dispersion of high-dosage HAF in NBR. The result indicated as follows. (1) The mechanical properties of vulcanizate were improved with adding modifier N and Si69, by which the dispersion and coupling were improved. (2) Compared with Si69, over which the modifier N had an advantage to improve heat-aging, oil resistance and comprssion set of NBR vulcanizate, and the comprehensive property was better as the content of modifier N was 4.0phr, and the properties basically kept stable as the content of modifier N increased. This part experiment are applying for a patent. (3) SEM indicated that the HAF dispersion in NBR was more homogeneous and the reunited granules were fewer and smaller after adding modifier Si69 and modifier N, and the effect of modifier N was more obvious.(4) RPA showed that the modifer Si69 and modifier N could improve the heat-aging property of the vulcanizate, and the effect of modifier N was the best.3, The blend of modified PVC and modified PP with NBR. The result indicated as follows. (1) After PVC were modified by modifiers, the tensile strength, tear strength, compression set resistance, heat-aging resistance and the toluene resistance of PVC/NBR vulcanizate were improved to some extent, and the effect with TCY was the best obivious. (2) The mechanical properties of PP/NBR modified by methylacrylic acid magnesium were enhanced to some extent, especially the performance to resist toluene was enhanced greatly. (3) Compared with the performance of NBR vulcanizate, PVC/NBR vulcanizate was of better modulus, heat-aging resistance, heat oil resistance and compression set resistance. (4) DSC indicated that Mg(MMA)2 decreased the glass transition temperature of PP, therefore, the compatibility of PP and NBR was improved. (5) SEM showed that the mechanical properties of PP/NBR was improved to some extent after PP was modified by Mg (MMA) 2- (6) RPA, SEM and toluene resistance experiment showed that TCY might generate co-crosslink to NBR and PVC, thus the properties of vulcanizate.were improved...
