The treatment of organic waste gases and vapors are rather important in the air pollution control. Absorption is the most economical, convenient and well-developed among other treatment methods. In the absorption process, the gas solubility in the solvent plays a key role on removal efficiency and operational price. Solubilities of in 1,2-Ethylenediamine, Triethylamine ,Tetrahydrofuran , Pyridine in the water were measured at temperatures ranging from 15℃ to 40℃ and at normal air pressure. The infection of temperature and liquid concentration on the gassolubility was studied. UNIFAC model was used to simulate the gas-liquid equilibira and compared with experimental data. The operation character of packed tower in leaher production waste gas treatment was also investigated. From the experimental data, the gas solubility from high to low in the water can be ranged as 1,2-Ethylenediamine, Triethylamine , Tetrahydrofuran , Pyridine. UNIFAC model was accorded well with the experimental data at temperature below 30 ℃ and low liquid concentration. The relative deviations of the calculated solubility to the experimental data are 1.93%, 1.62%, 1.77%, 2.17% form 1,2-Ethylenediamine, Triethylamine, Tetrahydrofuran, Pyridine respectively. But the deviation between UNIFAC model and experimental data increases as the temperature or the liquid concentration increases. For the same substance at low liquid concentration, the gas solubility of them remain unchanged when temperature changes.Applied on the experiment datas, the waste gas processing was described and their parameters were calculated in the paper, for foundation of the further practice.
