Research On Control System Of Honing Machine

Honing machine is the important equipment in cylinder finish machining,which play a key role in metalworking industry.However,a large amountof honing machine in our country is out of date,which could not meet the rapid development of metalworking industry.Compared with foreign honing technology,the inner honing machine is poor in auto-control systems and honing technics.The programmable controller (PLC) is a kind of universal industrial control apparatus, which takes microprocessor as its core, and integrates microcomputer technology, automation technology and communication technology. The content that this paper studied is to make use of PLC technology to realize the intelligent transformation of the ordinary honing machine, redesign the electric control system, apply the advanced control technology and network communication technology to the equment transform, and improve the stability of the control system and machining accuracy.The thesis researches the control system and replace original switch control by PLC.The reciprocating and revolving motion of honing machine spindle is the important parts for honing machine technology upgrade.According to the system's property,we select the Siemens s7-200 as the main controller and design the hardware and software systems.Fieldbus technology is the development trend of control system in future. We can control a few of honing machine or a few of honing spindle through profibus at the same time,which can improve the manufacture efficiency and the machining procision.At last, this paper study the manipulative strategy and carry out MATLAB emulator.
