Chapter 1: History and present status of room temperature phosphoresce (RTP) spectroscopy in CD or NaDC systems are briefly introduced, respectively, and our recent experimental results are also summarized to give a new insight on non-deoxygenated RTP induced by sodium deoxycholate or cyclodextrin.Chapter 2: Owing to the unique aggregate model in aqueous solution, dihydroxy bile salt can provide phosphorescent probe with a special microenvironment in which the phosphorescent measurement can be realized without deoxygenated. However, as for the accurate mechanism of this kind of anti-oxygen quenching phosphorescent of bile salt, it is not very clear. The aim to this present work is to offer with possible more insights by investigating the particular kinetic behaviors of 3-bromoquinoline (3-BrQ) as probe in sodium deoxycholate aggregate based on phosphorescent quenching methodology. As the functions of quencher Cu2+ and NO2-, the rate constants of 3-BrQ in various photophysical processes were obtained in sodium deoxychlorate (NaDC) solution and full aqueous solution. In NaDC solution, the quenching rate constant kmq (for Cu2+) equals to 1.77×107 M-1 s-1 for cupric ion of 1.0×10-66.0×10-6M and 4.66×106M-1 s-1 for cupric ion of 6.0×10-61.5×10-5M; kmq(for NO2-) 1.62×106 M-1 s-1 for nitrite ion of 1.0×10-58.0×10-5M and 6.33×106 M-1 s-1 for nitrite ion of 8.0×10-51.5×10-4 M. The quenching rate constant kmq (for O2) of dissolved oxygen is estimated as 4.15×104 M-1 s-1 in air saturated NaDC solution at 1 atm. The exit rate k.and entrance rate k+ were determined to be 102 s-1 and 106 s-1 level, respectively.Chapter 3: Dihydroxy bile salts, e.g., NaDC, NaCDC and NaUDC solution could induce 9-bromoquinoline to emit strong anti-oxygen phosphorescence. As the functions of quencher Cu2+ and NO2-, in NaDC solution the quenching...
