Chlorine dioxide had been widely used in water treatment field for its fine performance, it is one of the main uses of chlorine dioxide in water treatment to use its strong oxidability to dispose the refractory wastewater.This thesis study mainly on the preparation of catalysts in rubber waste water treatment by chlorine dioxide, the economical and technical comparison of chlorine dioxide chemical oxidation system and catalyzed oxidation system, and having preliminary discussions in the characteristics of rubber waste water and the chlorine dioxide catalytic oxidation reaction course and principles. The experimental result indicated, for the rubber waste water whose COD is 769mg/L and TOC is 826 mg/L, the reaction rate is very slow and the effect is bad when only use chlorine dioxide chemical oxidation to dispose the waster; but under suitable catalyst function (the catalyst preparation conditions: the roasting temperature is 320℃, and the roasting time is 2 hours and the dipping solution density is 4%), The reaction rate is quicker and the biochemical nature of rubber wastewater was enhanced remarkably around 0.5, which lays the good foundation for the following biological treatment, each ton waste water consumes the expense of the oxidant between 5.20 and 6.93 yuans; Under the best response condition, the Cu-Ni-GAC processing effect surpasses the processing effect of other catalysts; stemming from the cost consideration, this kind of method still could not apply to the rubber wastewater thorough oxidized.The research indicated that, the rubber waste water included many refractory organic matter which is unable to be determined under the COD determination condition, the intermediary products which produced in the catalyzed oxidation response have created waste water's COD elevating, therefore, the effect of chlorine dioxide catalyzed oxidation processing rubber waste water could not simply appraised by the COD removing rate; the chlorine dioxide catalyzed oxidation response has the characteristics of free radical response, possibly because the free radical's production sped up the reaction rate , changed the response way and enables the refractory organic matter to be oxidized and decomposed.In company with the penetration of researches, as a kind of new and highly effective of processing technology, chlorine dioxide catalytic oxidation method has the broader application prospect.
