The Study On Establishing The National Standard Of Structural Bamboo & Wood Composite Board

The significance and necessity has been elaborated to establish the standard of structural bamboo & wood composite board, which can realize the industrialism and can improve the development .To establish the standard of product is an important content of carrying out the standardization. It is a comprehensive topic that combined scientific theory with practice.This paper researches the test method and the index of dimension, surface quality and physical characteristic of structural bamboo & wood composite board, according to the information of producing , using and analysing data. It includes dimension, surface quality and physical characteristic. Refer to internal and overseas standard, we stipulate the product size. Through analysing the surface material of structural bamboo & wood composite board, the surface quality requirement is difference about wood surface and bamboo surface. Through the statistical analysis and research of documents, we determined the index items. There are moisture, modulus of elasticity(MOE),. modulus of rupture(MOR), level shearing strength, immersion test of adhesive bond, formaldehyde emission content. And the index requirement is decided by plenty of tests. The moisture is less than 14%. Longitudinal grain MOE and MOR are divided into A, B and C, but transverse grain MOE and MOR are stipulated the minimum. Level shearing strength should be more than 3 MPa. The formaldehyde emission content should be satisfied El or E2.The test method of level shearing strength is determined through orthogonal design. The result is as follows, the width of specimen is 50 mm, the length of specimen is four times thickness and 50 mm. The contrast of the different method showed that the demandof I kind immersion test of adhesive bond in national standard GB/T17657-1999 is most strict. So this standard adopts I kind immersion test of adhesive bond .
