The chemically modified electrodes have been a most burgeoning and one of the most flourish research realms in the electrochemistry and electroanalytic chemistry since it was developed in the middle of 70's. It was for the moment widely applied in many cases such as life sciences, environmental science, analytic science and material science. The mediators modified on the surfaces of electrodes can realize the electrocatalytic reactions by accelerating electron transferring between redox centers and the electrode surface. The carriers immobilizing the mediators have a great influence on the electrochemistry activities of the mediators. The electrocatalysis of the modified electrodes is an enormous impetus for its development and was widely used in the slow electron transferring processes which isn't easily realized, for example, the electrocatalysis of biomolecules, organic compounds and inorganic ions. Ascorbic acid (AA) is considered as one of the most important elements that keep a person healthy. In the event of being short of it, a person may catch scurvy or lower the resistance to disease. Consequently it is quite significant to make quantitative analysis in the field of medicine and food. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), which is used as coenzyme by over 300 dehydrogenases, have been the subjects of numerous studies geared at understanding the factors that may control their redox activity.Biosensors based on enzyme-modified electrodes are valuable in clinical diagnosis, bromatology, environmental monitoring and biochemical analysis. One of the developments of biosensor is the third generation amperometric enzyme electrode with direct electron transfer, which is commonly prepared by conducting organic salts and conducting polymers. Development of a third generation enzyme electrode is one of the long-term goals of biosensor program in the...
