The complexity and uncertainty in support system of mining face exists objectively. They include the uncertainty which caused by both the mankind behaveing, the nature phenomena and the limit of the mankind's recognization to the objective world.Nowadays the mankind knows support system of mining face by erecting mathematics models to simplify it and try their best to consider all sorts of complexity and uncertainty in the models.This can contribute the mankind to know the objective world correctly.After elaborating the development of the complexity of support system of longwall coal mining face of heavey inclined thick coal seam fully-mechanized top coal caving and the regularity of underground pressure in longwall mining face.This thesis draws a conclusion that there are nonlinar and uncertainty in support system,After the analyzing to the basic characters of the support system in longwall coal mining face of pitch thick coal seam fully-mechanized top coal caving,such as,the edge of gloom,adaptability , the diagram type competition,nonlinear and the flow character,it was drew a conclusion that the supports have multilayers of, handing over with the external world continuously with each other, developing and evolve continuously of, living individual:The individual presents a coordination for the conditioned action and foreknowledges.Based on the simulated experiments, number calculations and the spot investigations,the quantity indexes of the coal seam angle complexity and coal seam thickness complexity were set up;they also were applied in concrete engineering example:Dongxia Coal Mining;The degree of Dongxia Coal Mining on both coal seam angle complexity ,coal seam thickness...
