MBS resin was a three — yuan grafting copolymer which synthesized by methylmetharylate, butadiene and styrene through seeds-emulsion polymerization. It had the typical core-shell structure in its submicroscopic structure morphology. Because of its special structure, it had the good capability of low temperature, high anti-impact, transparence, exterior glabrousness and easily process capability. MBS resin had a good effect on the toughness of plastic, such as: polyvinyl chloride( PVC), and therefore it was widely used to strengthen the plastic such as PVC.There was two kinds of MBS resins that used in PVC as anti-impact material, that was: transparent and anti-impact MBS resin. In order to realize the structure and use of different kinds of MBS resins, at first, we synthesized a series of different diameter butadiene-styrene latex(SBR) by one-step, miniemulsion, and agglomeration method ; Secondly, grafted butadiene and methylmetharylate on different kinds of SBR latex to get different kinds of MBS resins; Thirdly, mixed it into PVC and got MBS/PVC blends with good transparence or good anti-impact capability, and then tested its mechanical capability; At last, explained the change of the sample' s impacted fracture surface through SEM.In this paper, We also studied the factors that affected the grafting degree,...
