The paper is about the preparation method of poly(styrene-butadiene) nanoparticles latex with core-shell structure by ultrasonic emulsifying method instead of traditional mechanical agitation using radical reaction mechanism.The influencing rules on the molecular weight, viscosity, conversion, the contents of solid and gel, copolymer microstructure, the emulsion particle size, particle morphology and their distribution etc.of the polymerization factors,that include ultrasonic time, the thickness of RSH, the order of adding monomers and initiator, temperature and time, were studied simply. The poly(styrene-butadiene)nanoparticles latex with core-shell structure were preparaed according to above rules.There are two methods,one polymerization condition is under 0~5℃,for 15 minutes of ultrasonic radiation , employed two stage emulsion polymerization, and styrene (polymerizing less than 40 minutes)and butadiene were the monomers in the first and second stage of the polymerization respectively ,moreover the initiator was added in a lump with the first monomer. one polymerization condition is under 0~5℃,for 15 minutes of ultrasonic radiation , employed two stage emulsion polymerization, and styrene (polymerizing less than 40 minutes)and butadiene(2.5h) were the monomers in the first and second stage of the polymerization respectively ,moreover the initiator was added in a lump with the first monomer.The other is the same of above except that employed two stage emulsion polymerization, and butadiene (polymerizing less than 80 minutes) and styrene (2.5h) were the monomers in the first and second stage of the polymerization respectively.And then the nanoparticles with integrity morphology were prepared.
