Triazole compounds have been found to show wide spread biological activities, many of them have been developed and used as fungicides, plant growth regulators and medicine. Triazole compounds have been the most important types of fungicides in nitrogen heterocyclic compounds. Different structures of triazole compounds have different biological activities, developing novel structural triazole compounds is the research focus at present.In this paper, we have reviewed the recent advances in the studies on nitrogen heterocyclic compounds as triazole and oxadizole derivatives. Different active groups were inducted into the triazole compounds according to the principle of combination bioactive sub-structure. 4-Amino-5-mercapto-l,2,4-triazole and 1,3,4-oxadiazole group were introduced into the structures of triazole derivatives and forty three novel triazole compounds were synthesized in two types.
