According to the demand of cleaner production of the UV curable coating, the synthesis of glycidyl acrylate—the principal part of UV curable coating has been improved. Two new photosensitive arcylate have been synthesized. Furthermore, a new water based photosensitive arcylate which get the strongpoint of both UV curable coating and aqueous coating has been synthesized. And the optimum technology parameters have been obtained by the test. This results is useful in both theory and practice of cleaner production in UV curable coating.It's glycidyl acrylate that the existing photosenstive resin of UV curable coating. In the traditional synthesis of glycidyl acrylate, washing had been used to separate product and solvent. It took many problems such as the water pollution, the corrosion of facilities and low productivity. The cleaner synthesis of glycidyl acrylate was investigated on the basis of using the dry natrium acrylate as source, refining product by filtration,and choosing efficient catalyst. Compared with the traditional ways, the yield ratio was improved obviously and the problem of discharged water pollution was solved.Two new photosensitive arcylates have been synthesized in this paper. Triglycidyl isocyanurate acrylate is an excellent ultraviolet curable resin through coating tests, including duriability of weather, stability of temperature, inhibident fire and fast curing. Hydroxyethyl acrylate propyl hydroxy-chloride maleate can be used as active thinner of UV curable coating and thinner of unsaturated polyester.Aiming at the problem of environment pollution caused by the UV curable coating, a photosensitive arcylate which can dissolve in water has been worked out. So it's possible to develop the water based UV curable coating. The additive agent–water could volatilize in atmosphere that reduce the air pollution. The speed of curing is much faster than aqueous coating.All the technology of synthesis of the three new photosensitive arcylates are cleaner production, without environment pollution.
