Content: The resource of soil is the extremely valuable natural resource for the survival of human being. Our country has made high-spaced and sustainable development with less soil resources, comparing to other nations. Owing to the high-speed economy in middle stage of industrialization, our country will enter a new period of acceleration of urbanization and industrialization in the coming years. With the increase of population and accelerating use of soil resources, soil resources are growing scarce. The limited soil resources and high-spaced sustainable agriculture development emerge as two conflicting forces. It is much concerned that how to protect, harness and utilize the soil resources to ensue regional sustainable development.Taking soil resource around Guixi smeltery area as an example, the author analyzed the heavy metals contaminated situation of soil resources in Shui-quan and Zhu-shan village farming land. By use of investigation of sampling and Experimental analysis, and on basis of analyzing the result with phytoremediation, the author put forward some Scientific and suitable harnessing Countermeasure and Utilization suggestions. The main contents are as follows:1. The influence of supporting capacity of soil resources in the researching district. Based on the survey and date analyzing of heavy metals pollution in soils and grains around Guixi smeltery, characteristic and current situation of heavy metals pollution were monitored and analyzed. The author choose four pollution factor and set up appraising system of soil heavy metals pollution in the region. The author thought of consulting scheme of soil resource suitable exploitation and harnessed. The simulation results indicated that the farmland contaminated of soil heavy metals were serious, and hadn't still take any effective measures of end-treatment. Under the circumstances, soil resource can't support its high-spaced sustainable social and economic development. End-treatment method and front-prevention method of soil contaminated are two major ways to solve the coming soil shortage, and the former should adopt such ways as phytoremediation to raise effective utilization rate of soil resource.2. Research on eliminating soil heavy metals pollution by phytoremediation and organic controlling. Based on the theoretical foundation of the experiment with phytoremediation and chelate-induced phytoextraction, and supporting on field experiment and method of lab analysis, the author analyzed prospect of phytoremediation on Soil heavy metals pollution around Guixi smeltery area. The results indicated that Elsholtzia splendens Nakai ex F. Maekawa can absorb soil heavy metals effectively, suit to the region. Oxalic acid , citric acid, EDTA can activate soil heavy metals and promote heavy metals element enrichment in E.splendens. Astragalus siniucus L. can overcome the shortcoming of the secondary contaminated by organic reagent, and it's a good natural organic green manure. While activating soil heavy metals, it can foster and apply fertilizer to the land, and improve Biomass of E.splendens.
