Study On The Environmental Impact Assessment

Environment impact assessment (EIA) is an essential policy of the environmental management, In our country this policy has been brought into effect for about 20 years, which acted the positive function to control the pollution source, protect the ecology, implement the sustainable development. Due to historic reasons, many factors restricted the development of EIA. Now there are few domestic and abroad researches, so according to character of china, how to force this system after two years when this law of EIA was established, which need to be studied.In this report, This report, from the point of EIA definition view, clarified that EIA system research has a grand realistic signification. It was analysis our nation's status system, and to summarize our achievement and disadvantage on EPA through use American advanced EIA system. It also clarified the reason for disadvantage and creation new management idea that is to enhance intendance and management work, develop strategic SEA, embody the human rights first, and set up completely EIA in public participation and system.
